Fall of X has already been catastrophic for the X-Men, and it's only just begun. The Orchis Initiative's brutal assault on the Hellfire Gala broke the back of Krakoa and scattered the X-Men to the wind. Over the last few years, the X-Men have been on top of the world, the power and safety of Krakoa enabling many of them to live lives they never thought possible. Orchis has taken that away from them, tearing down the shining edifice that was Krakoan mutant power.
