Grant Morrison is on the short list of best comic book writers of all time. Morrison has written for publishers on both sides of the Atlantic, but they are best know for their long career at DC Comics. Morrison was part of the late '80s British Invasion of DC, that first generation of creators from the UK that produced many of the best comics of the 1990s and beyond. Morrison's work was instrumental in the creation of the Vertigo line and they produced their magnum opus, The Invisibles, for the DC imprint.
