The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been renewed for a second season before it's even premiered, along with The Walking Dead: Dead City, as announced today at San Diego Comic Con.
The news came alongside multiple trailers and teasers shown at SDCC panel Walking Dead Universe Fan Watch Party, where we saw a new official trailer for Daryl Dixon.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is set to kick off on September 10, and stars Norman Reedus reprising his role as Daryl after he washes ashore in France and must try to figure out how to get home.
Meanwhile, Dead City is gearing up for its season one final on July 23, and follows Maggie and Negan through a zombie-filled Manhattan.
While the main show has concluded, The Walking Dead Universe still staggers onward, with Fear the Walking Dead airing its final season on October 22 and The Ones Who Live expected in 2024.
Here at IGN, we've already seen the entirety of The Walking Dead: Dead City, but found it to be just okay with a tighter, more focused story than the original The Walking Dead, but with an unsatisfying progression to Maggie and Negan's relationship that isn't improved even by an interesting new villain.
